Description

The MasterHAK frame extension is designed for motorhomes based on the Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer and Citroën Jumper equipped with the SAWIKO RA030i rear garage lowering frame.

The structure extends the existing chassis to match the required rear-overhang length. It prepares the vehicle for the installation of:

• the MasterHAK 381400 towbar crossmember,
• a carrier platform for bicycles and e-bikes,
• the main mounting bracket of the AMPLO hydraulic levelling system.

Each kit is manufactured from high-strength steel and adapted to the specific motorhome. The product price remains the same regardless of the required extension length.

Applications

The rear sections of the frame extension feature prepared mounting points for platform adapters with 145 mm centre-to-centre hole spacing. This solution is intended primarily for platforms used to carry bicycles, including heavier electric bicycles.

The frame extension also forms part of the MasterHAK 381400 towbar system. The complete towbar assembly can provide a maximum vertical load of up to 120 kg.

The actual permitted vertical load depends on:

• the technical specifications of the vehicle,
• the permitted rear-axle load,
• the weight of the carrier platform,
• the weight of the transported equipment,
• the final installation configuration.

The frame extension is not intended for platforms carrying heavy motorcycles, scooters or other high-weight vehicles.

Installing the frame extension, towbar or carrier platform does not increase the vehicle’s permitted gross weight or maximum rear-axle load.

Vehicle-specific configuration

Each frame extension is prepared for a specific motorhome. To verify compatibility, we require:

• a photograph of the chassis end behind the rear wheel,
• a photograph of the identification label on the left-hand garage lowering frame,
• a clearly visible SAWIKO RA030i marking,
• the rear-overhang measurement.

Based on the photographs and identification details, we verify compatibility and determine the correct extension length. The maximum supported rear-overhang length is 2,430 mm.

Installation

For vehicles with the SAWIKO RA030i configuration, installation requires holes to be drilled in the existing chassis extensions. The MasterHAK components are then connected using bolted joints.

Standard installation does not require welding. The estimated installation time for an experienced mechanic is up to two hours. The actual time may vary depending on the condition of the vehicle, access to the mounting points and equipment installed underneath the body.

Kit contents

The kit includes:

• left and right frame extensions,
• components for mounting the structure to the vehicle,
• structural crossmember,
• reinforcement braces,
• required bolts and mounting components.

Not included

• towbar crossmember and towball,
• electrical wiring kit,
• bicycle carrier platform,
• platform adapters,

These components must be selected and ordered separately.

Compatibility with SAWIKO RA030i and AMPLO

This product has been designed and manufactured by MasterHAK. It is not a SAWIKO-branded product.

The structure is designed to match the mounting arrangement used with the SAWIKO RA030i rear garage lowering frame. It is also compatible with the main AMPLO levelling-system mounting bracket intended for this configuration.

If the motorhome is already equipped with an AMPLO system, or if installation is planned, the MasterHAK frame extension can be incorporated into the configuration. The remaining levelling-system components must be selected according to the vehicle model and its individual layout.

2. Take a photograph of the label on the left-hand garage lowering frame.
3. Check that the SAWIKO RA030i marking is visible.
4. Measure the rear overhang.
5. Send us the photographs and measurements before placing your order.

After verification, we will confirm compatibility and prepare the correct frame-extension length.

Do not order this product based only on the vehicle make, model and year. Motorhomes may differ in chassis construction, rear garage mounting arrangement and equipment installed underneath the rear body. Photographs and measurements must be verified before the kit is manufactured.
