MasterSTEP W1 Wide Comfort – wide rear access step for Opel Movano C from 01/2022

Description

The MasterSTEP W1 Wide Comfort is a wide rear access step designed for Opel Movano C panel vans manufactured from 01 – 2022 onwards. Its steel construction, durable plastic cover and anti-slip mat provide a comfortable stepping surface measuring 136 × 21 cm.

The MasterSTEP W1 Wide Comfort has been developed for commercial vans where the rear doors are used repeatedly throughout the working day. The wide step provides convenient support when entering and exiting the load area.

The outer plastic cover protects the steel structure and withstands the typical knocks and scuffs associated with everyday use, loading and unloading.

Durable plastic cover and secure footing

The rear step measures 136 cm in length and 21 cm in width. Its steel construction is complemented by a specially designed cover made from durable black engineering plastic.

The upper surface features an anti-slip mat, improving grip even when the step is wet or dirty.

The maximum load capacity is 130 kg.

The MasterSTEP W1 Wide Comfort comes as standard in black with a black anti-slip mat. Other mat colours are available on request.

For Opel Movano C from 01 – 2022

The MasterSTEP W1 Wide Comfort is designed for:

The product is supplied as a complete rear step with a vehicle-specific mounting kit for the Fiat Ducato chassis.

Installation requires no drilling or modifications to the rear bumper.

Compatible with factory-fitted parking sensors

The rear step has been designed with the factory-fitted parking sensors of the Opel Movano C in mind.

When correctly installed, the parking sensors continue to operate as intended. There is no need to relocate or disable the sensors or modify the vehicle’s electrical system.

Tested in real working conditions

The MasterSTEP W1 Wide Comfort was tested for 9 months on a courier van, from autumn through to spring. The step was used hundreds of times per week and regularly cleaned at a self-service pressure wash facility.

After this period, the plastic cover showed mainly a dulling of the finish along the most exposed edges. No cracks or damage affecting the use of the step were observed.

A second unit was used for 3 months on a Opel Movano C regularly loaded using a forklift. The forklift mast repeatedly came into contact with and rubbed against the plastic cover. Scratches appeared on the surface, but the cover did not crack.
